Stephan Ott is New Editor-in-Chief of Form

The design magazine form is back. Its last publisher Birkhäuser became insolvent in March 2012. As a result, the future of this worldwide renowned design magazine, published since 1957, was not predictable any more. Thanks to Peter Wesner, former member of the board of KPMG, its existence is now secured and its editorial office again based in Frankfurt.

Just recently, the new editorial team was presented: The new editor-in-chief is  Stephan Ott, former head of communications at the German Design Council. Sophie Lovell, famous for her design publications, will assist him as executive editor. From Berlin she will also be responsible for the re-internationalization of the magazine. Its relaunch is planned for next year.
